This garment is crafted from 85% Nuyarn® Merino wool and 15% Nylon, with a lightweight 125gsm weight Merino. The Merino wool used in this base layer has undergone the Nuyarn process, a unique spinning technology that enhances the natural performance characteristics of wool fibres. Unlike traditional spinning methods that twist and compress fibres, Nuyarn drafts wool fibres along a high-performance filament without twisting them, resulting in yarns with superior volume, aeration, and elasticity. This innovative construction allows you to reach your peak performance by providing a base layer that dries up to five times faster, is 35% warmer, offers 35% more stretch, and is 50% stronger than conventional Merino wool.
The Swazi Hoodoo – Gen II is also odour neutralising, meaning it can be worn for days at a time without developing unpleasant smells. Its ultra-soft and lightweight nature ensures maximum comfort, while its moisture-wicking properties keep your core at a constant temperature even when wet.
