Kogel Speed Kolossos Oversized Pulley Cage
The Speed Kolossos Oversized Pulley Cage was designed to be as stiff and fast as possible, for improved shifting accuracy and better chain retention with lower drivetrain friction. It encompasses everything Kogel stands for; efficiency, durability and performance without compromise.
It pairs an incredibly stiff, aircraft grade aluminium cage, which combines strong shifting and effective power transfer, with two oversized pulleys, a large top pulley with 12 and 14 teeth respectively, for Shimano and SRAM, and an even larger bottom pulley with 20 teeth.
Friction within the drivetrain, and therefore chain articulation, is reduced thanks to the large surface area of the pulleys and the smooth action of the premium, corrosion resistant, hybrid ceramic bearings, which leads to a super smooth action and more of the energy from the pedals being transferred into speed.
The sleek cage design shields your pulley wheels and chain, adding an aero boost, whilst being incredibly lightweight at just 98 grams. Meanwhile, the bearings use smooth road seals to limit the drag further, without compromising durability.
Light and ultra stiff, this contemporary looking, oversized cage is as capable on gravel as it is on the road, with the long teeth of the lower pulley holding your chain firmly in place. Available in two colourways, it will personalise your bike while elevating your performance on mixed terrain, however hard you pedal.
