Quick, Efficient, Economical

The EK3 is fast with a top speed of 95 km/h (60mph). The 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels offer excellent manoeuvrability. Safety is provided by the efficient CBS braking system. The central motor delivers a consistent and strong performance. The outstanding ergonomic design and efficient shock absorption system ensure a supremely comfortable ride. The generous dimensions- 1900mm length, 500 mm width, 1150 mm height offer a correspondingly great driving experience, in addition the EK3 has a load capacity of 200 kg and offers space for up to two people and luggage.

USB Connection

While you’re out and about with your EK3, you can recharge your smartphone using the on-board USB port. This practical additional feature means that you can rest assured that the battery of your mobile phone will always be sufficiently charged – no matter when and where.

CBS Braking System

The CBS braking system distributes braking force between the front and rear disc brakes. Should you brake in an emergency it helps reduce stopping distance and ensures safe braking from high speeds. The increased brake feel allows precise handling even in wet conditions. The 220mm front and 190 mm rear disc brakes deliver powerful, efficient stopping power in all weather.

Automatic Locking and Unlocking

The Horwin EK3 recognises your keyfob automatically and will unlock the scooter when you walk up to it. All you have to do is press the start button. When you leave your EK3, it locks again. It really couldn’t be easier and more convenient!

Operation & Anti-Theft Alarm System

The scooter key conveniently features an integrated remote control. This means that you can start up, switch off and immobilise the e-scooter without even having to place the key in the ignition switch!

The anti-theft alarm system can also be enabled and disabled using the remote control key.

Automatic Daylight DRL lights

The headlight is equipped with an LED lamp. With brighter and whiter light it can literally cut through the night and is far superior to a standard halogen lamp. LED lamps also come very close to the colour of daylight giving the driver a more natural impression of the road situation.
The automatic daytime running light (DRL) illuminates with an intensive white LED lamp. This improved lighting allows greater visibility by other road users enhancing safety. An automatic light switch-off delay lights your way to the garage or entrance when you leave the vehicle.

Full Control with a Modern Cockpit

The big display of the HORWIN EK3 shows you all the information you need during your journey. Current & average speed, SOC, trip, ODO and a whole lot more. The slide-to-start function under the display offers a new simpler way to start your trip. Combining modern design with the latest technology, the backlit dash displays information clearly regardless of ambient light conditions.

Dual Batteries

The EK3 electric scooter can be equipped with two lithium-ion batteries that are easily removable. The SOC monitoring system provides plenty of power and optimises battery health and efficiency to give over 1000 charge cycles. Batteries are charged from a standard 13a socket and you can charge the battery from flat in just 4 hours.

The EK3 is sold and fitted with one battery. A secondary battery can be purchased for £1,495. Enquire with our sales team.

Highly Efficient Engine

The Centre Motor developed by HORWIN creates an output of 6.7 kw at a speed of 95km/h (60mph). Acceleration to 60 km/h (38mph) in six seconds, with full torque being activated immediately the throttle is opened, the constant power of the motor ensures smoother running under all road conditions. In addition, the highly efficient motor provides the perfect balance between performance and energy consumption.
