Guideline Pliva Shuttlecock Mayfly Flies
Devin Olsen’s fly and a result of his experience from the World Championships in Bosnia in 2015. Devin based this pattern on flies that the locals used, shades of olives, a little flash and a distinctive rib was common. This fly has proven like the nymph Pliva Perdigon to be very versatile. These colors match a lot of different species of baetis/olives. Add floatant only to the thorax and the CDC wing when you fish. Try High’n Dry Liquid Floatant/Gel and Tiemco Dry Magic . Revitalize with High’n Dry Powder Brush or Tiemco Dry Shake Brush.
