Fenix ARE-D2 USB Smart Multi Charger / Power Bank
Fenix ARE-D2 is a high quality dual channel USB smart multi-charger featuring a digital display and compatibility with both Ni-MH and Li-ion battery types. The charger is fully protected against short circuit, over current, over voltage and reverse polarity assuring the utmost safety and taking the best possible care of your batteries. The supplied cable plugs into the charger via micro USB and features a standard USB plug at the other end to plug into your existing phone charger etc for mains power, or into a power bank for portable power. Max charging current is 2A in the right channel and 1A in the left channel for Li-ion batteries. If both channels are in use max current will be 1A per channel.
ARE-D2 can also be used as a power bank, simply insert a Li-ion battery into the right hand bay (left bay does not support power bank function) and connect the supplied cable into the standard USB port on the charger, then plug the Micro USB end of the cable into to the device to be charged. (You can also use USB to Lightning etc cables to charge other devices)
ARE-D2 also features a low current discharge mode of approximately 100mA for trickle charging.
