The SnapLock fastener works to anchor the top firmly to the Castelli Free Tri 2 Short, to maximise the speed of the ensemble in the water and on the bike. Once you start to run, it can be released for improved ventilation and greater ease of core rotation.
You’ll particularly appreciate the highly breathable, cooling Velocity mesh fabric at the back that nonetheless blocks 94% of UV rays as you adopt ride position, at which point the GIRO³ flat gripper elastic will keep the bottom of the Free Tri 2 Sleeveless Top firmly in place.
The two rear pockets lie flat, facilitating swimming speed by keeping water out, while offering enough room to store plenty of nutrition to perk you up during your ride or run and holding your gels still.
