Castelli Elite Women’s Swim Skin
The Castelli Elite Women’s Swim Skin is streamlined for tri events where wetsuits aren’t permitted. Conceived during the creation of an Olympic short-course suit for the German Triathlon Federation, its focus is uncompromising speed.
To that end, this skin, designed to be worn over a race suit, is made from engineered stretch-woven fabric with woven in leg grippers, achieving a great fit with legs that stay put without the need for lots of seams. In fact it’s nearly seamless, and existing seams are bonded rather than stitched and sealed on the inside, so that they lie flat to avoid disrupting the water.
The whole suit has a water repellent finish, promoting greater speed, and the 40cm rear zipper with elastic cord closing is not only easily opened and shut, but resists accidental opening during the swim. Importantly, this is a soft, comfortable suit that will support your muscle action without irritating your skin, allowing you to fully focus on achieving your best performance.
