Abbey Bike Tools Team Issue Titanium Hammer Complete Tool
The Abbey Bike Tools Team Issue Titanium Hammer Complete Tool lets you leave heavy-duty hammers on the shop wall, where they belong. It has a hollowed-out handle, so weighs just 265g – enough weight to get the job done, while helping travel mechanics to fit one more tool in under the airline’s weight limit.
At 12” long, it can easily be packed, but has the leverage to generate some serious force. If you need a bit more length, it’s possible to slot another tool into the handle, or use the hammer as a cheater bar in an emergency.
It has a custom silicone grip from ESI, which is replaceable comfortable to grasp, even with greasy hands. One side of the expertly welded head is titanium, while the other is made from softer nylon, which won’t mar delicate anodised or vintage components. The soft head is threaded, so can be changed out if damaged, either with Abbey’s own replacement or any similar 1” threaded option.
All of this adds up to a versatile hammer that will get the job done and form a lasting part of any travelling mechanic’s kit.
